A different aggregate character
Resin-bound stone combines selected natural aggregate with a resin binder. Individual aggregate remains visually readable, creating a coarser character than quartz or flake.
Interior and exterior are different specifications
Selected interiors, terraces and walkways may suit natural aggregate. Exterior, pool-area and driveable applications require separate evaluation.
Support, drainage and edge restraint
The existing base must support proposed use. Drainage, falls, water paths, movement and edges require review before installation.
Prepare around the real substrate
Existing coatings, unstable areas, defects and contamination are evaluated. Steps, borders, ramps and transitions need their own detailing.
Natural variation and practical care
Aggregate size and color vary naturally. References set direction but the finished surface will not duplicate a photograph exactly.
Colorado exposure and field verification
Freeze/thaw, sunlight, water and seasonal temperature changes matter outdoors. Vehicle loading requires a suitable supporting build and verified product application.
